I’ve been getting caught up in the back and forth again. The angry words. The political “us” vs. “them.” The willfully ignorant. The micro-aggressions. Personal attacks. Speaking before thinking.
I take it in. Respond in love or not at all. Lead with love. Love moves first.
I’m trying. I’m praying. I’m breathing.
So... I say again to myself.
Do better.
Love more.
